A difficult yet not impossible task.... heres my list

1: ENID BLYTON [1897-1968]

She tops my list. and always will. I was introduced to the world of book reading with her books.
Prior to that i was much involved in disney comics, Amar Chitra Katha and the many other comics. Her books- ranging to a thousand opened up to me a whole new world of fantasy while at the same time improved my vocabulary and language. To me she will always be the best

My Blyton Favs:

The Malory Tower Series

The Famous Five Series

The Noddy Series

The Adventure Series.

2:J K ROWLING

Of course she needs no intro at all. Her Harry Potter Series has captured my heart . Today I am a proud owner of all her five books. One other thing that i absolutely love about her books is that each character or action in the book has been well thought of. Each has a proper history. No random writings hers are.... I hope she continues writing even after her 7 book series on Harry ends.

My JK Favs

Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Secrets

Harry Potter And The Prisoner Of Azkaban

4:P G WODEHOUSE [1881-1975]

I shall call him the father of English humour and satire. He is best known as the creator of the irredeemably dim and unflaggingly affable Bertie Wooster and his invincible valet Jeeves. Reading his books makes me smile and laugh inwardly. His are not works that u chuckle loudly. The next best thing about his books are his language and sentence constructs. I call it elite. I just love those books..

Psst.. the famous search engine Ask Jeeves takes inspiration from the famous butler Jeeves the pet character in Wodehous Books

My Wodehouse favs

Pigs Have Wings

Very Good, Jeeves!

The Code of the Woosters (Collector’s Wodehouse)

The Adventures of Sally

5:RICHMAL CROMPTON [1890-1969]

I discovered her in the dusty store of my school library. Her books on the incredible William are just soooo hillarious. I call William the Dennis (of the Dennis the Menace fame) of the early 20th century. There are 38 books in the William series all ranging from 1922 to 1970. i recommend it to all u book lovers out there.
